Go Rogue with the new Nissan Rogue Sport
If you thought the original 2017 Nissan Rogue was a little drab, Nissan has the solution for you—the new 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport, expected to be available on May 11.
Ideal for all activities from everyday urban use to road trips, the Rogue Sport has space for you and four of your friends without making anyone call “Shotgun!” Nissan made this possible with a gliding wing interior design that provides a feeling of wide-open areas for personal space.
If the upgrade in space is more for toting your camping equipment, Nissan covered that too. The rear seats fold down in a 60/40 fashion creating 61.1 cubic feet of cargo space. With passengers, there’s still plenty of room for gear—22.9 cubic feet to be exact.
To keep with the elevated exterior, the interior comes in Charcoal and Light Grey with available Gun Metal or Piano Black finishes.
The exterior exhibits strong contrasts and a sleek, compact body—exclusive to the Rogue. The Sport takes it up a notch with boomerang-shaped taillights and rear spoiler. Options to modify to your needs include a moonroof and roof rails.
Picky about color? Choose from 10: Brilliant Silver, Caspian Blue, Glacier White, Gun Metallic, Magnetic Black, Mocha Almond, Monarch Orange, Nitro Lime, Palatial Ruby, and Pearl White.
But, it doesn’t stop at design. A “sport” vehicle needs to live up to the performance. Combining a responsive, efficient 2.0-liter engine with nimble handling and cornering, the Rogue Sport offers balanced dynamic driving.
It comes stocked with a standard 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder rated at 141 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 147 lb-ft of torque @ 4,4000 rpm.
The Rogue Sport comes in three models—S, SV and SL—that all have a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive and a range of five equipment packages.
The Rogue Sport is expected to go on sale May 11. If you can’t wait, shop our lot for your perfect 2017 Nissan Rogue.
